Case Study:
Natuzzi Flagship Store, Horizon Plaza (Hong Kong)

We performed a comprehensive brand identity analysis to understand the core aesthetic intent behind Natuzzi's European flagship concept. Acting as design interpreters, we decoded the visual language, spatial anchors, and material specs into actionable engineering parameters that preserved the original design essence.
Decoding Italian Design Language for Local Execution
1
Before procurement or buildout began, we conducted rigorous site evaluations at Horizon Plaza to identify physical constraints early. We collaborated directly with statutory technical experts—including Authorized Persons (AP), Registered Structural Engineers (RSE), and Registered Professional Engineers (RPE)—to define compliance roles, perform risk assessments, and establish alternative solutions for structural and MEP compliance under HKSAR regulations.
Site Audits & Statutory Technical Alignment
2
We translated the adapted designs into comprehensive technical tender packages, establishing a Project Quality Plan, milestone progress tracking, and a detailed budget for effective cost management. aimL guided local designers in refining drawing packages to account for site constraints, prepared bidding documents for contractor selection, and managed Nominated Sub-Contractors (NSC).
Blueprinting & Procurement Management
3
Throughout construction, aimL provided cross-disciplinary oversight to ensure contractors executed the refined technical plans without misinterpretation. By managing quality control and statutory sign-offs step-by-step, we delivered a "Site Ready" flagship store, handing off a fully compliant, flawlessly finished retail environment to Natuzzi’s operations team on time.
